Meet our Local Committee Members
Pauline Cook - Co-opted Governor / Chair of Governors
I have been a teacher in Sutton for over 40 years, the last 20 years as a headteacher. I am passionate about education and want to make sure that all pupils are helped to do their best. Now that I’ve retired I have the time to give support to Rushy Meadow and I’ve been a co-opted governor here for three years. The governors have just elected me as Chair of Governors and I’m enthusiastic about the role. I have two grown-up sons and three grandchildren, and do a fair amount of babysitting! I’m also a trustee of Homestart Sutton, a charity that helps families with young children.
